The Seaside Baker
The Seaside Baker shares her journals of recipes, places she travels to, experiences and anything else going on in her life. In almost two years she had built up a large following of devoted fans and was looking to monotize her blog. The problem was she was hosted on WordPress.com, which does not allow many types of commercial activities, such as running ad network ads. She was ready to go self-hosted.

Indiaphile – All Things Indian Food & Culture Blog
Indiaphile is my wife’s Indian Food & Culture blog that I often contribute to. I designed and created the site for her utilizing Wordpress as a cms and blogging platform. She writes most of the posts and does the food styling. I take the pictures, often with off-camera lighting, but sometimes with available light. We get over 10,000 visitors per month, a number which is growing rapidly. At this point all of the income comes from advertising.
Teaching piano is a very personal business. As a teacher, Corby spends a lot of time one-on-one with each of her students. Her website is not only a place to reach out for new business, but a place to show her pride in her students as they grow and improve.
A design consultancy firm I worked with as developer. I worked with a designer who I often collaberate with to build the site to her specifications. The site is fully responsive for mobile. I created a no-flash animated splash screen, configured the back-end, integrated twitter, customized the blog post thumbnails, included a google map.
